Meta today announced the Instagram Rings awards, which are held to recognise creative creators using the platform. They are given to creators who produce bold content that brings change to the platform. So, what should you know about it?

A specially designed ring for the winner

For your information, some of Instagram’s top creators have been appointed to serve as judges for this year’s Rings awards. Among them are MKBHD, KAWS, Marc Jacobs, Murad Osmann and Adam Mosseri. Winners will receive a ring specially designed by Grace Wales Bonner.

Moreover, they will also be given a gold bracelet on their account icon to show they are the winner and will be given the freedom to change their profile background colour and their own Like icon.

The first Rings winner will be announced before the end of the year, with the awards set to motivate users to continue producing creative work. The awards come as Meta has come under fire for promoting the use of AI in content creation with its own platform called Vibes last week.
