If WhatsApp is your primary mode of communication, this news might please you. Recently, Meta released a new Text Formatting feature for WhatsApp. That said, what should you know about it?

For your information, WhatsApp is adding four new text formats to make communications more streamlined. This is useful as it helps save time and deliver messages more effectively. In addition, WhatsApp added Numbered Lists to note a specific order of things such as instructions or recap of events. To use this, you can type 1 or 2 digits followed by the “.” (period) symbol then one space. You can also highlight texts with the Block Quote. To do this, use the “>” symbol followed by one space.

Finally, you can use the Inline Code to help distinguish specific information within a sentence. Simply wrap the text with the “ ‘ “ symbol. These are some of the new additions to the existing text formats like Bold, Italic, Strikethrough, and Monospace. These text formats should be available to all Android, iOS, Web, and Mac desktop users. Channel admins will also be able to use these options.
