According to a CNBC report. Meta will launch its Meta HyperNova smart glasses at the Meta Connect event this September. So, what should you know about it?
Meta's attempt to stay ahead in the market
For your information, Connect is an event where Meta often showcases new features and hardware that have been developed. That makes it the ideal platform to launch the successor to the Ray-Ban Meta.
Additionally, the Hypernova design has been leaked before, with it being developed under the name Meta Celeste.
Interestingly, it features an electromyography (EMG) wristband that allows control with just your mind as it reads signals sent by the brain. Two cameras are placed on the sides of the frame with a module for the waveguide device that transmits images onto the glasses for the MR experience
With its launch next month, Meta wants to ensure they can stay ahead of the AI-powered smart glasses market.
Reportedly, Google, Samsung, and Apple are all delaying the launch of their smart glasses. Google and Samsung will only launch the Android XR smart glasses early next year.
