Microsoft Copilot comes to Samsung TVs and monitors

Today, Microsoft has officially launched Copilot on select Samsung Smart TVs and monitors, turning your living room screen into a voice-powered, AI-enhanced companion for entertainment, everyday help, and shared discovery. It is available in select TVs and monitors, though. But before we get to that, let's see what it does.

A Smarter Way to Watch

Copilot brings a conversational interface to the TV experience, letting users speak naturally to find shows, ask questions, or plan their weekend. Whether you're hunting for a new binge-worthy series or settling a group debate on what to watch, Copilot makes the process intuitive and social.

Designed for living rooms, Copilot isn’t just a solo tool—it’s built for families and friends to use together. From spoiler-free recaps and ultra-specific recommendations to group-friendly picks and post-watch deep dives, Copilot adapts to your needs in real time. It’s perfect for those “what should we watch?” moments or spontaneous curiosity sparked by a scene.

Copilot appears as a friendly animated presence on screen, lip-syncing and reacting as it speaks. Answers come alive through glanceable visual cards—whether it’s movie suggestions, weather updates, or image results—making the experience more immersive and tailored to the big screen.

How It Works

Copilot rolls out automatically on supported Samsung models and can be accessed via the Apps Tab on Samsung Tizen OS or Samsung Daily+. Just press the mic button on your remote and start talking. Users can optionally sign in with a Microsoft account to unlock personalised features, memory, and preferences.

Availability

Copilot is now available on Samsung’s 2025 lineup of Smart TVs and Smart Monitors, including Micro RGB, Neo QLED, OLED, The Frame Pro, and QLED models like the Q7F, as well as M7, M8, and M9 monitors. The experience is free to use and will expand to more models and regions over time.
