It is truly an end of an era for us Windows users, as one of the most iconic and beloved image editing software, Microsoft Paint, is confirmed to be removed from the next Windows 10 updates.
Microsoft has recently released a list of apps and services that will be removed or deprecated in the upcoming Windows 10 Fall Creators update. One of them sadly, is the 32 year old MS Paint, which has been part of our PC lives for as long as the first Windows version.
But don’t worry guys! After an overwhelming response from the people of the internet, Microsoft has heard our cries and announced that MS Paint will only be removed as a default software suite and instead will be downloadable as a standalone app in the Windows Store. Hurray!

The move to remove MS Paint is probably because Windows wants to push their latest painting and image editing software, Paint 3D which was introduced earlier this year and features a whole lot more tools for drawing, including 3D objects. You can check out Paint 3D here in the Windows Store.
So there it is guys, what was your best experience with MS Paint? Let us know in the comments and make sure to stay tuned to TechNave.com for the juiciest tech news.
