Many of you probably know Energy Star, but you probably never expected leaks to come from that source. That's right, Energy Star just became a new leak source when the details for an upcoming Microsoft device was revealed. The leak revealed some of the specs for the Surface Book 3, which is expected to launch within this month.

The 2-in-1 PC from Microsoft is spotted by a Twitter user on Energy Star, with some info on its CPU and RAM included. Based on images posted by the source, both the 13-inch and a 15-inch model for the Surface Book 3 will be using an Intel Core i7 CPU that runs at 1.3GHz. As was suggested in our previous article on the Surface Book 3, this is most likely the 10th Gen Intel Core i7-1065G7 quad-core CPU. Also, the Energy Star listings indicate that both variants will have up to 32GB of RAM.

No other specs were revealed, but it was previously suggested that the two variants will use an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 and 1660 Ti GPU respectively. A US FCC listing also confirmed that both variants will come equipped with an Intel WiFi 6 module. More details will probably be revealed closer to the launch date.

Now that Microsoft's next convertible laptop is beginning to get certifications, the official launch may be right around the corner. It's looking quite promising, but what do you think of the specs revealed so far? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for further updates.
