Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 could launch this month with AMD CPUs from ~RM5900

When you think of Microsoft laptops, the first thing you would think is that it has an Intel CPU. But this time around, the company could switch things up. A reliable source has claimed that the Surface Laptop 4 would have AMD variants.

According to Winfuture.de, an online retailer unwittingly leaked the prices for the Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 variants. They're expected to launch later this month on 27 April 2021, with prices starting from 1199 Euros (~RM5900). Moreover, some renders show what the new model looks like. Not much was changed, but there's allegedly a small compartment that allows you to upgrade the NVMe SSD.

In terms of tech specs, the new model will not only come with Intel's latest Core i5 and Core i7 CPUs but also new Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 CPUs from AMD. It will also have up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Besides that, Microsoft is expected to launch the model in 13.5-inch and 15-inch sizes.

If you are considering getting a new Surface Laptop, you can check out the leaked prices above. Mind you, prices in Europe tend to be higher due to the tax rate, so it could be much cheaper when it's launched here.
