Microsoft is back in business with Huawei again after granting license

It's been a tough few months for Huawei getting caught in the trade war, but here's some good news for the China tech company. According to sources, Microsoft has been granted a license to export its software to Huawei. This is due to the recent ban lift extension by the US Commerce Department this week, giving them another 90 days.

In an official email statement by a Microsoft spokesperson, he said that the license has been approved on 20 November 2019. With this, Microsoft was able to export mass-market software to Huawei, most presumably their Matebook series to use their Microsoft software and programs. Microsoft also added they appreciated the US Commerce Department's response to their request.

In case you've forgotten, Huawei got caught up by the US back in May this year being accused of working closely with the Chinese government for "spying". The current US President, Donald Trump was the one who gave the order to ban the company from working closely with many US companies for national security purposes.

Oh well, Huawei will have some room to breathe in this time. How many of you have their Matebook series? Stay tuned for more Huawei news at TechNave.com.
