Today, Microsoft announced that it is rolling out Windows 11 features - Live Captions, Cocreator, Restyle Image and Image Creator to AMD and Intel PCs. Previously, these features were only exclusive to Copilot+ PCs that are powered by Snapdragon X Series processors.

To be precise, only PCs with AMD Ryzen AI 300 series and Intel Core Ultra 200V can support these AI-powered features. For the uninitiated, Live Captions can provide real-time translations in English for audio and video content during virtual meetings, podcasts or other videos. Simplified Chinese is also being rolled out, with support for AMD- and Intel-powered devices coming soon.

On the other hand, Voice Access is a feature that allows Snapdragon X Series PC users to communicate with their PCs using more descriptive and flexible language, with support for AMD- and Intel-powered devices coming later this year. It will be the first Voice Access update to take advantage of the NPU capabilities on Copilot+ PCs.

Finally, Cocreator is coming to Photos to help users with enhanced drawing and editing capabilities. Restyle Image assists users more in designing and transforming photos into artistic styles, such as oil paintings, sketches and others. Meanwhile, Image Creator can take your ideas to create visuals based on detailed prompts.

According to Microsoft, some of these Copilot+ PC features are available via the March 2025 Windows non-security preview update (which requires the November 2024 non-security preview update). The company will gradually roll out these features via the Windows-controlled feature rollout (CFR) to consumers over the next month.
