Microsoft is slowly phasing out Windows Control Panel with each new update

Based on a report by windowslatest.com, it seems that Microsoft recently pushed out updates which removed features and functionality from the Windows Control Panel. With that said, there is a high chance Microsoft plans on completely removing the Control Panel, in favour of a more modern way of tweaking settings on a Windows machine.

If for any reason the user tries to access the Control Panel, they will instead be redirected to the About page instead which can be confusing especially for those who are used to tweaking their Windows PC via the control panel. As of now, there is no official information in regards to when Microsoft plans to completely phase out the Windows Control Panel.
