When you share files on a PC, you have to drag the file from its folder to the program you want to share it to. It's pretty simple, but it would be great if it was simpler. That's what Microsoft aims to do with an upcoming Windows 11 feature.
Recently, a Windows Insider user posted a preview of a "Drag Tray" feature. This new feature aims to simplify the file-sharing process, eliminating the need to drag files to specific programs. Instead, it allows you to drag and drop a file to a system tray on the top of the screen and share it with a program of your choice.
To try the Drag Tray out for yourself in the latest Beta CU, run vivetool /enable /id:45624564,53397005 and reboot.

(as usual, you'll need to enable 48433719 if this doesn't work.)
As you can tell, this is similar to how file sharing works on Android devices, where you can select a file, tap Share, and send it to an app of your choice. If you ask me, Drag Tray will definitely be a fine quality-of-life improvement once it's implemented in Windows 11. The feature can now be tested by Windows Insiders, but you'll need to enable ViVeTool by using the "/enable /id:45624564,53397005," command.
