It's been a month since ChatGPT was introduced and Microsoft didn't waste any time to integrate it into Bing and Microsoft Edge browser. In the company's latest news update, it stated that Bing had achieved over 100 million daily active users.

Over the weeks of receiving the community's feedback, Microsoft said it has learnt and sent out a number of improvements to make Bing better. Of the millions of active users, the company also said that one-third are new Bing users. Also, another one-third are using Chat daily and there have been over 45 million total chats since the preview.

This has encouraged Microsoft to improve "the unique value proposition of combining Search + Answers + Chat + Creation in one experience". Besides the huge spike in growth, Microsoft is also seeing more users using Bing to search more. As the data also showed that 15% of users are using Bing to create new content from the Chat sessions.

Besides that, Bing has also been used on mobile phones since the Bing Mobile app was released. Microsoft said the new app "led to a 6X increase in the daily active users from pre-launch levels". It is believed that the voice input in the Answers and Chat feature proved to be helpful.
