According to Microsoft, the new prices are due to the introduction of new features such as Copilot Chat, Security Copilot, improved security systems and improvements to the software management system. Copilot Chat, for example, works in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote.

Moreover, there is also Agent Mode that simplifies the process of creating documents. Meanwhile, Security Copilot is built directly into Defender, Entra, Intune, and Purview to further enhance the security system. As of now, there are no further details on the Malaysian pricing. So, we should wait for more announcements from Microsoft Malaysia.
