Microsoft releases a preview of PC Game Pass in Malaysia, over 100 games available for just RM1 during trial period

Microsoft today announced that it is bringing its popular PC Game Pass to Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries including Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. Furhtermore, for the first time ever, a preview of the service is now available in the aforementioned countries.

Announced on its official website, Microsoft said that the PC Game Pass preview will give gamers access to a library of over 100 high-quality games. These include new Xbox Game Studios releases on day one, iconic Bethesda games and EA Play membership for one low monthly price.

Currently, Microsoft announced that it is in the midst of setting up and testing local payment methods for the service. In the meantime, it will only be charging RM1 for the whole duration of the preview in Malaysia. 

The tech giant first introduced PC Game Pass in 2019 and was built from the ground up in partnership with the PC gaming community. It gave gamers everywhere the ultimate freedom to discover and play a highly curated library of great games.

PC Game Pass includes popular games such as Minecraft, Forza Horizon 5, Age of Empires IV, Sea of Thieves and Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. The service includes new Xbox Game Studios titles on day one like Halo Infinite.

Furthermore, it also features iconic franchises like Fallout and The Elder Scrolls from Bethesda Softworks, independent games and blockbusters. EA Play is also included with the service, featuring some of the world’s biggest franchises including FIFA, Battlefield, The Sims and Mass Effect.
