Microsoft says you don't need to Safely Remove your pen drive and hard drive anymore

So you know that one rule about having to safely eject your pen drive or hard drive at all times from your laptop and PC? Well, turns out that you don't need to do that anymore on Windows 10. Also, this is coming from Microsoft themselves.

According to Microsoft, they have integrated a feature called "quick removal" and this allows you to just take off the pen drive or hard drive anytime you want (of course, not when you're transferring data in between). In fact, this feature has been around since October last year with the version 1809 and Microsoft is actively telling IT professionals about this.

On the contrary, its "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" is still visible whenever you right click the pen drive or hard drive in the system tray. Maybe they should remove that entirely in the next update. Anyway, now you can tell your smarty pants friend that you don't need to do Safely Remove anymore.
