Microsoft to hold Surface event on October 2

It's no surprise that Microsoft’s next Surface event will be happening in New York. However, this year’s event will be a little different as not only new Surface devices will be launched. The Windows logo on the invite shows that it may be including the software side as well.

We can expect the Surface Laptop 3, Surface Pro 7 and Surface Book 3 launched in terms of their new devices. The much talked about Surface Earbuds and new keyboards each with a Microsoft Office button may also be there. A dual screen foldable laptop or table with the code Centaurus may be previewed during the event as well. We may also be hearing about the next Windows 10 big update.
