Microsoft has been relatively tight-lipped when it comes to its games streaming platform - Project xCloud. But in the latest official post by Head of Xbox Phil Spencer, the launch window for the service was finally revealed. Project xCloud is expected to launch later in September 2020.

In a new post about all things Xbox, Project xCloud will be launched in September in supported countries. A quick look at the FAQ found on the official site tells us that the preview for Project xCloud was limited to Canada, South Korea, USA, and the United Kingdom. It also explains that the service rollout may take several years to complete.

Besides that, Microsoft will let Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers get access to Project xCloud at no extra cost. In case you're wondering, the Game Pass Ultimate cost USD 15 (~RM64) per month and comes with a Game Pass with Xbox Live Gold. Spencer also said that xCloud will be getting its official name at launch and will come with more than 100 titles available to subscribers.

Thus far, we're still unsure whether Microsoft plans to launch the service in Malaysia. Considering the lack of presence for Xbox in Malaysia, we may not get it at all.
