More Redmi K60 series’ specs revealed ahead of tomorrow's launch, features Sony IMX800 sensor with OIS

The highly-anticipated Redmi K60 series is set for release tomorrow (27 December 2022) and Redmi is further hyping up the launch by teasing more of the lineup’s specs. These include details of each variant’s processors, camera specs and more.  

Taking to its official Weibo account, the Xiaomi subsidiary shared that the series will offer 3 choices of SoCs. These include the MediaTek Dimensity 8200, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 as well as the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It is likely that the K60 Pro will get SD 8 Gen 2 while the Redmi K60E has been confirmed to feature the Dimensity 8200.

Furthermore, Redmi also confirmed that the K60 Pro will feature 5000 mm2 VC liquid cooling area for better thermals and an impressive 2K display with 1400 nits peak brightness, 12-bit support and 1920Hz PWM. As for cameras, the K60 Pro sports a Sony IMX800 sensor with OIS support.

Previously, we already reported that the K60 Pro will feature up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. All in all, the K60 series looks like it’ll be quite an impressive smartphone lineup.
