While some smartphone series have variants with similar specs, the Redmi Note 11 series looks to be different. Sources claim that the Redmi Note 11 Pro could feature the Snapdragon 778 chipset. However, Xiaomi has confirmed a MediaTek chipset instead.

According to the latest teaser on Weibo, global variants of the Redmi Note 11 series will feature the Dimensity 920 chipset. Of course, Xiaomi could still use the Snapdragon 778 chipset for the Chinese variant. Of course, using different chipsets for variants in different regions is a common practice, so we're not too surprised here.

Regardless, the Dimensity 920 is a good choice for an upper mid-range device. This 6nm chipset comes with two Cortex-A78 CPU cores and a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU, which combine to score more than 500000 points in the latest version of the AnTuTu benchmark. The phone will even have a large vapour chamber for better cooling efficiency. This suggests that the CPU or GPU could have been overclocked for improved performance.

The Redmi Note 11 series is set to launch tomorrow, so we'll find out more then. Until then, stay tuned to TechNave for other news like this.
