If you noticed the trend starting last year, Samsung was beginning to release more Galaxy FE variants for certain regions. In Malaysia, we got ourselves the Galaxy S20 FE 5G and the Galaxy S20 FE LTE variants, and there are some rumours of the Galaxy S21 FE model coming soon.

We saw some leaks of the Galaxy S21 FE here and there but this time, the information got leaked on the Google Play Console. According to the leaked list, the phone could be featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and we may not see a plus variant of it. There also could be two memory variants - starting with 6GB of RAM and 8GB of RAM.

Moving on, the leaked list also claimed the Galaxy S21 FE to have a 1080p display which isn't surprising since that's the standard for modern flagships. In fact, we won't be surprised if the Galaxy S21 FE has the same amount of pixels as the Galaxy S21 and S21+ at 2340 x 1080 pixels. Speaking of pixels, the Galaxy S21 FE should pack a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display at 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support.

For the camera, the list further showed a triple rear camera consisting of a 12MP (main) + 12MP (ultrawide) + 8MP (telephoto) sensor and a 32MP front camera. The battery pack seems to be the same at 4500mAh and could run on One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 out of the box.

The Galaxy S21 FE should prove to be popular if it launches in the Malaysian market. Previously, the Galaxy S20 FE series sold well due to its value and using a Snapdragon chipset which Malaysians love. Until then, we will keep an eye on this so stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
