It's now 2018 which means we will be having new gadget toys to play with! If you know Samsung's tradition, they will be releasing a new Galaxy S9 and S9+ soon and it should be around the first quarter of 2018. Render concepts have been popping up more and more recently, so here's another look at the courtesy of Weibo thread forums, showing us the latest render.

At first glance, there isn't much different from its predecessor and both look very similar, same curved display, no home button and narrow bezels on the top and bottom. Samsung has not removed the headphone jack port either and it still has the dedicated Bixby button on its right side. However, it's said that the Galaxy S9 series model will have a higher screen-to-body aspect ratio

On the back, the fingerprint scanner is located below the main camera and this is what Samsung should have done in the first place. this is the same case with the Galaxy A8 2018 model. Although the Galaxy S9 render shows only one single camera sensor, rumours have it that the Galaxy S9+ will have a dual camera setup and we can assume it will function the same way as the Galaxy Note 8 with its Live Focus feature.

In terms of tech-specs, the Galaxy S9 series will be one of the first few Android phones to use a Snapdragon 845 processor and could be unveiled at CES 2018 in Las Vegas. Stay tuned for more Samsung news at TechNave.com.
