More details of realme X50t leaked, could have bigger battery than X50m

It seems that realme is really looking to diversify its X50 series of smartphones. Not long after the X50m and X50 Pro Player Edition were launched, we already started to see new rumours about the realme X50t model. However, the X50t may not be using a Snapdragon 768G chipset as originally believed, but could instead come with specs identical to the X50m.

According to Digital Chat Station, the X50m will sport the same Snapdragon 765G chipset, 48MP main camera, 30W fast-charging, and 120Hz refresh rate display as the X50t. So what's different here? Well, the X50m is apparently a thicker (9.3mm vs 8.9mm) and heavier phone (202g vs 194g). This suggests that it needs more room for components inside, most likely a larger battery.

Besides that, it won't support as many 5G bands as the X50t. Instead of 7 bands, it'll only support the n41, n78 and n79 bands. We're not sure how big an effect this would entail, but the idea here could be to make it a more affordable 5G device for regions without the unsupported 5G bands.

realme is expected to launch the X50t within the week, so we'll find out more about what's different when it's revealed. With that said, what are your thoughts about the phone? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for further updates.
