More info made available regarding Qualcomm's potential new laptop chipset

Based on the information provided by WinFuture, the Snapdragon 1000 will have a 12W power draw and it will be sized around 20 x 15mm design which allows more room to fit more cores into the chipset. Not only that, the size and additional cores is expected to give the Qualcomm Snapdragon 1000 a significant performance.

During an internal testing of the Snapdragon 1000, the chipset is fitted with 16GB of RAM as well as 256GB of internal storage and it’s expected to have a battery life of approximately up to 20 hours which gives us an idea of the specification of the device the Snapdragon 1000 will be fitted in. There is no official news regarding the Qualcomm Snapdragon 1000 and the performance it provides.
