We've seen the smartphone interchangeable lens system Sony has been cooking up before so we're quite excited to see some more pics of the clip-on lens system in action. This time around they also come with some surprising tech specs which include:
- built-in RX100MII sensor
- 18MP CMOS sensor
- Bionz processor
- ZEISS lens
- 10x zoom + 1/2,3-inch
- Supports WiFi + NFC + microSD

Supposedly there will be two Sony Lens cameras under the model names of DSC-QX10 and DSC-QX100. With one version probably designated for the higher end side of the spectrum. While the lens will probably work on their own, the lack of controls means that they will interface through your smartphone or tablet in the same way a bluetooth keyboard or speaker would work. While there is a clip-on system, the lens itself looks to be attachable through a magnet. So far, no idea on how much it would cost but from leaked images it looks like it should be able to support both Android and iOS smartphones. We're expecting it to make an official appearance at the upcoming IFA 2013 event in September but again no news when it would be available for Malaysia and other markets.
