For the last few iterations, the iPhone SE remains the smartphone model you'd call classic in 2022. Even the iPhone SE 2020 had thick bezels and a large home button. While sources claim that Apple would redesign the series, that move might have been delayed.

According to @dylankt, the rumoured redesign for the iPhone SE series has been pushed back to 2024. He claimed that the iPhone SE that would launch this year would feature a similar design to its 2020 predecessor. In other words, it would have thick top and bottom bezels, as well as a home button. Of course, that would also mean that this year's model should support Touch ID.

Many believe that this would happen, what do you think?

Mind you, this is not the first time the rumour has surfaced. In October 2021, Kuo Ming-chi made a similar prediction. The analyst suggested that the design for the iPhone SE 2022 would be identical to the iPhone SE 2020. However, it's expected to feature better hardware like the Apple A15 Bionic chipset with 5G support.

As for the iPhone SE 2024, some say that it will look similar to the iPhone 11. But if that's your preferred design, get ready to wait for another 2 years. With that said, would you choose to skip this year's iPhone SE model? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates about it.
