While the LG G6 is yet to be officially in stores, the smartphone had already been available for pre-order in its home market since March 2. And boy, is the interest in this device high! According to LG South Korea, 40,000 people had thus far pre-ordered the device, which is offered in three colours for 899,800 Korean Won (about RM3482) for the 64GB variant.
Well, there are some reasons behind the above expectations sales figure. For starters, LG is luring buyers with a special pre-order package, which includes a one-year screen replacement warranty, an original phone case, as well as the option to choose from several accessories, which includes the LG TonePlus Bluetooth headset, or the Rolly Keyboard 2.
The other reason, would be of sales strategy. LG released its flagship smartphone before Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus hit the market, increasing interest as well as awareness for its device. Also, users within South Korea were already able to hands-on test the G6 at about 3000 retail stores across the country since February 27, which helped in a great way for indecisive users.
Well, there are still no words of availability for the LG G6 in the Malaysian market, chances are, it’ll be available thru imported sets first before any official sets make it here. Stay tuned with us on TechNave.com for more LG updates in future.
