In a first of its kind of nationwide photowalk, more than 800 photographers across 33 locations in Malaysia covered their respective areas for this Malaysia Day 2024. Organized and initiated by photographer Kim Boon Lim, the Malaysia Day Photowalk 2024 event involved both DSLR users and mobilegraphers using camera phones. The aim of the event was to “capture and celebrate the beauty of Malaysia, its unique diversity, inclusivity and unity”.

Locations included Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Kota Bharu and more where all Malaysians of various races participated but you can find out more at their Facebook Group page. For my own area, I joined the Putrajaya group which used devices like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max and HONOR Magic6 Pro to DSLRs like the FUJIFILM X-T20, FUJIFILM X-T30, Canon R6 Mark ii and more.
