
Motorola has released its latest affordable smartphone in North America recently, the Moto G Play (2024). Featuring some compelling specs at its low price point, read on to find out more about the device.
Under the hood, the G Play (2024) is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Battery-wise, it’s a 5000mAh cell with support for 15W charging via the USB-C port.
The screen is a 6.5-inch 90Hz IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution and a punch-hole cutout at the top centre, housing the 8MP selfie shooter. At the back, there’s a 50MP main camera paired with a secondary sensor.
Other notable specs include an IP52 rating, 5G connectivity, Android 13 OS and stereo Dolby Atmos speakers. In the USA, the G Play (2024) is priced at USD149.99 or ~RM708, with Motorola not revealing any plans to launch it in other regions outside North America yet.
