We can't deny that the Moto Razr 2019 had made a wave some time ago by bringing the nostalgic clamshell phone back into this era. After that, we also can't deny that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, which is better in many ways, has outshined the Moto Razr as another clamshell folding phone on the market. To bring the honor back, Motorola has to do something. Therefore, we are now getting leaks of the Moto Razr 2 regarding its tech specs to excite us about the comeback.

The Moto Razr 2 is expected to be an upper mid-range smartphone again by featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 chipset. It will also support 5G with the Snapdragon X52 modem. Other than that, the next-generation Moto Razr will have 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a 2,845mAh battery as well. It is also mentioned that the device will sport an upgraded Samsung’s 48MP ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor while the front-facing camera will rise to a 20MP shooter. The device is expected to run Android 10 out of the box.

The launch date of the Moto Razr 2 hasn't been confirmed yet, but it is rumoured to be somewhere end of this year. With the launch of the Moto Razr 2, it is uncertain if Motorola will take the crown back as it is still not a flagship-level smartphone compared to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. However, it would still be nice to see Motorola's attempt to bring something better to the consumers.
