We can probably expect the Moto E7 Plus to look similar to the Moto E7

It seems Motorola is going strong with its mid-range game. In the latest piece of new, a benchmark record for the Moto E7 Plus was found on Geekbench. This is an upgraded version of the Moto E7 with better specs. But the main difference is that it's expected to feature a new Snapdragon chipset.

The phone's benchmark score was found listed on Geekbench 4. It shows that the device has a motherboard named 'guam', an unknown Snapdragon chipset, and 4GB of RAM. According to MySmartPrice, the phone is most likely equipped with the new Snapdragon 460 chipset. This chipset has an octa-core CPU running at 1.8GHz, which lines up with info found on the benchmark record. It's also supposed to have an Adreno 610 GPU.

Allegedly, this phone could also be a rebranded variant of the Moto G9 Play that appeared on Geekbench a few weeks ago. However, that phone had a 'guamp' motherboard and is rumoured to be using a Snapdragon 662 chipset. If Motorola is going to rebrand the Moto E7 Plus, the only variant it could end up being is the Moto G9 to go with the Moto G9 Plus.

Of course, a lot of these are conjecture without proof, so do take it with a pinch of salt. But if Motorola somehow decides to bring this phone to Malaysia, would you be interested in getting it? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news like this.
