Nowadays, some hardware or design elements in smartphones are more or less fixed. For instance, it'll have a front screen and at least one speaker. It'll also have some buttons like the volume controls. But some phones feature an extra button or two, like the upcoming Motorola Razr+ 2025.
According to renders from Evan Blass, the Motorola Razr+ 2025 will come with an additional button on the left. The button's function remains unconfirmed, but based on its positioning, it's probably not a camera shutter. Instead, the button could be intended for AI features, which continues to be a smartphone trend in 2025. It could also be similar to the OnePlus Alert Slider button that lets you quickly toggle between different preset modes.

Besides the new button, the front and cover screens for the Motorola Razr+ 2025 also seem to have thinner bezels. The bottom speaker also appears to have a larger opening, making it look similar to a microSD card slot. Of course, we're sure that's not what it is. Blass also claimed the new model will feature a "Rio Red" variant with a faux leather back.
It should be noted the Razr+ foldable phones are typically rebranded as Razr Ultra for the global market. Last year's model was the Razr 50 Ultra, so the 2025 model should debut as the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra outside the US. Anyway, what do you think of the new model?
