Back in June, Motorola launched the Razr 2024 and the Razr+ 2024. Also known as the Razr 50 series in some markets, most expect the two to be the only foldable phones from Motorola this year. However, it seems the company has one more model to show for 2024.

A Motorola Razr 50s was spotted on the HDR10plus site listing devices with HDR10+ certification. While the listing doesn't provide details like specs, features or price, it should have the same type of display as the other Razr 2024 series smartphones. It's also speculated that this Razr 50s would be a more affordable variant to attract more buyers. Unfortunately, we don't have enough info to draw any conclusions.

For reference, the Razr 2024 and Razr+ 2024 have nearly identical specs. However, both feature different chipsets, battery capacity, display specs, and camera setups. The chipset makes the most difference, as the latter's Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 outperforms the Dimensity 7300X by a wide margin. In addition, the Razr+ 2024 has two 50MP cameras at the back, while the Razr 2024 packs a 50MP+13MP setup.

As for pricing, the Razr 2024 and Razr+ 2024 retail for USD700 (~RM3033) and USD1000 (~RM4333), respectively. If Motorola were to make a more affordable Razr 50s (or perhaps Razr S 2024 on the global market), it could retail for around USD600 (~RM2600). That would make it easily the most affordable flip phone in 2024.
