Motorola S50 Neo release - SD 6s Gen 3 SoC, 120Hz pOLED and 50MP main cam from ~RM906

Motorola has released its new mid-ranger in China, the Motorola S50 Neo. Featuring some competitive specs at an affordable price, read on to learn more.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC paired with 8/12GB RAM and 256/512GB storage. There’s also a 5000mAh battery which supports 30W charging via the USB-C port.

Screen-wise, it’s a 6.7-inch 120Hz pOLED with an FHD+ resolution and a centre punch-hole cutout housing the 32MP selfie shooter. At the rear, the main camera is a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide. 

Other notable specs include Android 14, a microSD card slot and colour options of either Grey, Olivine or Surf, which were made in collaboration with Pantone. In China, the S50 Neo starts at CNY1399 or ~RM906, with global availability yet to be announced.
