Motorola has officially teased its next flagship, the Moto X70 Air, promising an ultra-thin design to launch by the end of October. The company dropped hints via its Weibo account, positioning the device as a direct competitor to the likes of Apple’s iPhone Air and Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge.

A Slim New Challenger

The teaser spotlights the Moto X70 Air’s lightweight, slender body, accompanied by promotional language hinting at an “Air” level of thinness and design ambition. The imagery shows a flat-edged frame, side-mounted volume and power buttons, and at least a dual-camera setup at the rear.

Spec Hints and Teased Features

Although Motorola has kept technical specifications under wraps, a handset with model number XT2533-4 recently appeared on China’s TENAA with a 6.72-inch 1.5K LCD panel, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 7000mAh battery. It’s not certain if that listing corresponds to the X70 Air, but industry watchers are watching closely.

Given Motorola’s prior hints about being a launch partner for Qualcomm’s newest chips, expectations are high that the X70 Air might arrive with a flagship-level processor under the hood.

Global Rollout Likely Later

Currently, Motorola is teasing the Moto X70 Air primarily in China. That said, it’s plausible the phone could later reach global markets under the Moto Edge branding, following the brand’s recent naming strategy.

The teaser ends with a promise: “See you at the end of October,” setting a clear window for the reveal. Until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
