Movement control measures and body temperature checks will be carried out on all Rapid KL train stations during CMCO!

Untitled-1.jpgThe Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) begins today with most of the economic business sector and public transportations back in operations by following the standard SOP. All Rapid KL train users will require to follow certain movement control measures to avoid congestion and keep social distancing on trains.

According to Rapid KL,  there will be body temperature checks carried out before passengers are allowed to enter the station and the station officials will also control the movement of passengers before and after the automatic gates. Besides, each train will only allow a limited number of passengers to board with markers placed to assist passengers to practice social distancing.

Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana) group chief operating officer Muhammad Nizam Alias mention the My50 and My100 pass users will be able to renew or purchase new passes with additional 15-day extension for free at all customer service counters at all LRT, MRT, monorail and BRT stations as well as at selected bus hubs until 31 May.

With that said, all train passengers are advised to put on the facemask and always keep social distancing while on the trains. Do remember to keep practicing all hygienic precautionary steps during this CMCO as well. Stay tuned for more local news updates on TechNave.com!
