Mozilla says Kit is a companion for users in browsing the web privately, openly and securely. For now, only the mascot's introduction is done through the official Firefox website, in addition to offering several items that can be purchased with the mascot's design.
It is not yet known whether Firefox will also receive a new icon and logo or vice versa.
