Mozilla Team has reached a milestone by releasing the Firefox 100. The latest release will arrive with multiple features that users might have wanted. Now, let's find out what they are!

Mozilla has announced some of the features coming on its official blog. One of them would be the picture-in-picture (PiP) functionality on the browser now supports captions and subtitles. Furthermore, it will also get a first-run language switcher that Mozilla describes as a "new feature that makes it easier for people to use their preferred language." It works by recognising the device's language preference and asking if the user would like to switch. The credit card autofill will also be introduced in more regions, including the UK, France, and Germany.

Besides the desktop version, the Android app is getting a handful of new features as well. The latest version of Firefox for Android will organise user's URL history more efficiently by removing duplicate URL entries. Tabs will also get minor tweaks, while unused tabs will become inactive after 14 days and get moved to a separate section named 'Inactive Tabs.' The HTTPS-only mode from Firefox Focus, Mozilla's privacy-oriented browser, has been added into the list too.

However, if you're expecting any major design changes, they're not happening. Mozilla is only adding two new browser wallpapers for the Android and iOS apps, namely Beach vibes and Twilight hills. These new wallpapers are accessible to all users across the globe via Settings on Firefox.

We're proud of how far the browser has come, and anyone here using this over Google Chrome? Leave a comment to let us know, and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more tech news.
