Previously, the new prayer room on the premises was temporarily closed for renovation purposes. The poster that was shared also displayed the logo of the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS). So it means that the surau in the premises has obtained valid approval to enable Friday prayers to be established there.
In addition, the prayer hall for Friday prayers inside IOI City Mall Putrajaya is located in the east direction, LG, close to 'East Court', behind Poh Kong. For your information, the IOI City Mall Putrajaya is the largest shopping centre in Malaysia with an area covering 2.5 million square feet.
