Today, the full digitalisation of the My50 Travel Pass is now available on the Touch 'n Go eWallet app. It was officiated by Prasarana Malaysia Berhad, in partnership with Touch ‘n Go Group, whereby Malaysian commuters will be able to purchase and activate the pass on the app, starting on 1 July 2025.
Cashless Commuting
This move aligns with the government’s broader digitalisation agenda and push for cashless commuting. With just a few taps on a smartphone, users can now secure their monthly unlimited travel pass, streamlining both access and usability. Not only does this save time, but it also improves the accessibility of the My50 pass.
The digital version of My50 is available to all Malaysian citizens. To get started, users simply need to:
- Download the TNG eWallet app
- Complete electronic identity verification
- Access the new Travel Pass feature in-app and link your enhanced TNG card via NFC
- Choose My50, set your preferred start date, accept the terms, and make payment
- Finalise activation by tapping your card again

After that, you will enjoy 30 days of unlimited rides on RapidKL train and bus services. The initiative is expected to benefit around 250,000 existing My50 users and attract even more commuters to public transport.
What’s Next?
Looking ahead, Prasarana plans to extend the digital ticketing system to other popular offerings such as the MyCity pass, further reducing dependency on cash transactions while improving overall commuter convenience.
