Today, the MyJPJ app has a new update that's going to take effect on 10 October 2024. If you log in to your account on the app, you will encounter a new message with a new compulsory login method via MyDigital ID.
Currently, using MyDigital ID is an optional way to go into your account on MyJPJ until 10 October. However, the message says it will be enforced from the date we mentioned, so it is required for all MyJPJ users to register the application as soon as possible to avoid any login difficulties.

For those who don't know, MyDigital ID is a national identity management and transaction signing platform that was rolled out earlier this year. It was designed to address the vulnerabilities of its contemporary implementation such as insecure communication channels and storage of user credentials.
Besides MyJPJ, MyDigital ID has already rolled out to other government apps such as MySejahtera and MyTax. However, it seems that the MySejahtera app has faded into obscurity ever since the pandemic days are behind us.
