
According to Paul Tan, Puspakom is now introducing GiCheck, a new platform for booking vehicle inspections, which is a rebranding of MyPuspakom. So, what should you know about it?
The Booking Processing Charge is set at RM5
Starting operations on 4 January 2026, Puspakom announced that this transition is part of system improvements to ensure the booking process is more organised, transparent and efficient for customers. Along with the transition to the new platform, the Vehicle Inspection Booking Processing Charge has now also been adjusted from RM3.50 to RM5.
Moreover, the price adjustment is part of the implementation of a new booking system which also includes automatic integration with the Road Transport Department's mySIKAP portal as well as improvements to the more orderly refund process.

The inspection service provider explained that the existing processing charges have never been revised since the online inspection booking system was introduced in 2017.Adjustments are now needed to ensure the booking system remains relevant to the current needs of the automotive industry and consumer expectations.
