Malaysia’s contact tracing app, MySejahtera has evolved to be more than just a Covid-related app in the past year or so, especially since our country's pandemic restrictions have been relaxed. Today, the app took that even further when it announced the update into MySejahtera 2.0 that brings with it a new look and additional health features.
Shared via its official Facebook page, MySejahtera said that the new UI and features are meant to ease users with their health-related matters. A first look into the new design shows that the home menu having just 6 submenus, which are Traveller, Infectious Disease Tracker, Helpdesk, Manage Dependents, Locate Health Facilities and More.
Furthermore, MySejahtera 2.0 also brings with it these new health features:
- Health screening record
- Children immunisation record
Moreover, users' Covid-19 vaccination status will no longer be displayed in the home page, with the users’ Covid-19 vaccination record being placed at a separate ‘Covid-19’ page accessible from the menu at the bottom of the app.
Besides that, MySejahtera 2.0 will also be adding additional health features in the near future. According to Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin on his Twitter account, these include users’ blood donation record as well as the digital ‘pink book’ or the health record of mother and children.
