Tis the season to be jolly, fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la… Everyone has started to shop for gifts now as Christmas day is approaching. A lot of stores are also having promotions that would make everyone go crazy. Recently, a counterfeit Nintendo Switch appeared in the market for only 50 USD (~RM207) and it’s just one alphabet different from the original one. Therefore, keep on reading to avoid getting fooled!

Nanica Smitch, is the name of the counterfeit device (nani?!) and it appears to look the same as the original one. It is also said that the console ‘Smitch’ comes with illegally downloaded ROMs as well for you to play around 800 titles including New Super Mario Bros. U and Super Bomberman R.

If we’re the ones who are buying it, we can definitely differentiate the device with the original one in the blink of an eye. For parents or grandparents, it might not be that easy as some of them wouldn’t even recognize the name of the console you told them to get.

For those who have asked your parents to get you a gaming console, be prepared to receive a 'Smitch' or an 'ABOX'. Merry Christmas! Stay tuned to TechNave.com for more viral news.
