Netflix is making it easier to kick someone out of your account

Netflix can't kick out the ones sharing your account, so it's giving you the power to do it (though there's no need for it if you're willingly sharing yours). The video streaming platform has introduced a new feature that allows users to easily kick someone off their accounts, along with showing some details regarding the access.

If you're sharing your Netflix account with someone willingly, this feature is not for you. However, if someone is feeding on your account without your consent, this feature is here to help. Netflix's new Manage Access and Devices feature allows users to keep track of the devices using their accounts. There's a new page showing all the details of the most recent logged in devices, including the date, exact time, the location the account was accessed, and even the IP address.

The blog post that announces the feature has given a scenario when you'll need it. In the upcoming holiday season, many are going to travel. Some might forget to log out after signing in at the places they stayed, leaving the accounts to get accessed by strangers. Therefore, this is why the company came up with this new option.
