Have you ever accidentally scrolled your timeline while streaming a movie or an episode of a drama on Netflix? If you find that really annoying, Netflix might have come out with a solution to save the day. Today, it has been found that a new feature called ‘Screen Lock’ appeared on the Android version of Netflix app, which brings the ability of locking the screen while streaming content.

With the new server-side update, a new icon will now show up at the left bottom corner for users to lock the screen entirely, but will leave the content playing. It is to prevent users from accidentally pressing any icons, pausing the content, or even messing up the timeline while watching movie or drama on the app. To turn the feature off, just touch the icon twice and the screen will be unlocked.

However, the feature is currently only available on Netflix Android app. For iOS, the update might come soon in the future. Netflix has been the largest content-streaming service for us to enjoy a huge library of movies and dramas. It is awesome that the company can notice such problems existing among the users and came out with a solution to make their product even better.
