Today, ASUS Malaysia has announced a new Vivobook series featuring OLED displays for the first time. According to the company, the new Vivobook lineup was designed for a new generation of lifestyle and content creators in mind. In this article, we will be checking out the Vivobook Pro 14X OLED, Vivobook Pro 15 OLED and Vivobook 15 OLED.
Starting with the Vivobook Pro 14X OLED (N7400), it is the world's first 14-inch 16:10 OLED laptop with 2.8K resolution, HDR 600-nit display and an ultrawide 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. To further display the best colour accuracy, it is also integrated with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification, as well as TÜV Rheinland-certified for low blue-light emissions for eye protection.
Powered by 11th Generation Intel Core i5, the Vivobook Pro 14X OLED also features up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics, 16 GB of RAM, and a dual-fan cooling system with ASUS IceCool Plus technology. Moreover, the trademark DialPad returns alongside a built-in fingerprint sensor on the power button. You can find a Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port too.
If you want a bigger size unit, then there's the Vivobook Pro 15 OLED (M3500) with a 15-inch NanoEdge FHD OLED screen panel. Weighing at just 1.65kg, the laptop is packed with up-to-the latest AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX Mobile Processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics, Harman Kardon-certified audio system, a dual-fan cooling system with ASUS IceCool Plus technology, up to 16 GB memory and 512 GB PCIe SSD.
As for the non-pro variant, the Vivobook 15 OLED has two variants which are powered either by up to AMD Ryzen 7 processor (M513) / Intel Core i3 processor (K513). Besides that, it still has the same 15-inch NanoEdge FHD OLED display, a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and a Harman Kardon-certified audio system.
