Today, Acer Malaysia has finally imported the refreshed Predator Helios and Helios Neo laptops as well as the Acer Nitro 50 desktop series with the latest 14th-Gen Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series laptop GPUs. From the high-end to desktop PCs, there's something for everyone so read below to read which one suits you best.
To recap the tech specs, the Predator Helios 18 and Heliors 16 gaming laptops come with up to 14th-generation Intel Core i9 processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPUs. With maximum total power (CPU + GPU) of up to 330W, these laptops have NVIDIA ADA Lovelace architecture to deliver AI-enhanced graphics thanks to DLSS 3.5 technology’s full ray tracing capabilities.
Sporting 18-inch and 16-inch (16:10) WQXGA displays, respectively. each model features a mini LED panel that operates at 250Hz refresh rates and supports 1000nits peak brightness. They also support 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and LED lighting underneath the keyboard with new MagKey 3.0 and MagClick. WiFi 7 is present, alongside 2x USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports and MicroSD card readers.
On the other hand, the Predator Helios Neo 16 is refreshed with up to 14th gen Intel Core i7 paired with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070. With a total power of 300W (CPU + GPU), it can be configured up to 16GB DDR5 of RAM (upgradable to 64GB) and up to 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD. The 16-inch IPS display features 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and 240Hz refresh rate and has a full range of ports including two USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and MicroSD card readers.
Last but not least, the Acer Nitro 50 Gaming desktop is refreshed with 14th Gen Intel Core i5-14400F processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX4060 GPU in its 18-litre chassis. Moreover, it features 8GB DDR5 RAM and 512GB M.2 2280 PCIe SSD, as well as additional expansion slots for future upgrades.
