New Apple intelligence update rolling out on iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2

Today, Apple announced the release of iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2 which also means another wave of Apple Intelligence features rolling out. To update your Apple device, simply visit the settings > general and look for the newest software update.

In this second wave of Apple Intelligence features, Apple has finally brought the much-anticipated Image Playground. This AI generator can help users create a new emoji with Genmoji, and improve their writing with new enhancements from Writing Tools. iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro can also now learn more about their surroundings with visual intelligence with Camera Control. Additionally, ChatGPT has been integrated into Writing Tools and Siri.

In its newsroom, Apple mentioned that there will be more Apple Intelligence features coming in the next few months. This includes Priority Notifications, a more capable Siri, and Image Playground with Sketch style, which lets users create images in an academic and highly detailed style. It's also noted that Genmoji is not yet available on macOS Sequoia 15.2.

On the other hand, Apple Intelligence also begins language expansion with localized English support for Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the U.K. Additional languages such as Chinese, English (India), English (Singapore), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and Vietnamese will be coming throughout the year, with an initial set arriving in a software update in April.
