A new Honor smartphone teaser was just announced today by Huawei on Facebook, we don’t know what device it would be but we can confirm that the official date is 5 April 2017 and a live event launch (perhaps a livestream?) will start at 10.30 GMT.
Since we have no idea what device it would be, rumours are betting on a Honor V9, Honor Magic or Honor 8 Lite to make an appearance, or maybe even all three (lol, that’s crazy). And although the teaser poster doesn’t look like it has much to decipher, fans pointed out that the three meteors falling with different colours are hinting that the device(s) will come in gold, blue and black.
All three speculated models have already been released in China a long time ago, but it’s about time that we see an international variant. The V9 is a flagship model that features Kirin 960 chipset, backed up two different variants of 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM. It also has a dual rear camera of 12MP + 12MP, along with a 8MP front camera, carrying 5.7-inch QHD display and EMUI 5.0 (Android 7.0), with 4000 mAh battery.
Meanwhile, the Honor Magic has similar tech-specs to the V9 except it carries a Kirin 950 processor and a bit shorter in 5.1-inches, however it stands out as the most beautiful smartphone ever crafted (if not, one of the most) with curved edges on all eight sides. The 8 Lite, on the other hand, is the lesser version carrying mid-range tech-specs of Kirin 655 processor, 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, 5.2-inch FHD display, a 12MP and 8MP camera for the back and front, and 3000 mAh battery.
