It seems that the craze of getting exclusive invites from Clubhouse is over, but that hasn't stopped some tech companies from making their own version. Facebook is currently experimenting with one on Messenger Rooms, as well as testing on Instagram with Instagram Live.

According to TechCrunch.com, they will add some new functions for users to mute their mics and switching off their video during Instagram Live. If that sounds like Zoom or any other online conference tool to you, that's because it is. Other than that, Instagram is working on more functions and capabilities for the host and the update would roll out soon.

Earlier this week, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri were testing out Instagram Live with the features mentioned above. In case you missed it, Instagram also released an update for the host to create a Live Room that allows up to four participants to broadcast at the same time.

The new Instagram Live function updates are going to roll out on both iOS and Android as we speak. So if you're the type that uses it often, be excited. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
